👀 Major UI Revamp: Clearer Actions, Transparent Execution & Better Control!

Based on your feedback and our goal for maximum clarity, we've significantly revamped the user interface:

• Action Buttons Renamed for Clarity:

  • Seek → Act: Emphasizing task completion and actions.

  • Explore → Crawl: Highlighting its use for paginated lists and deep-crawling nested items in new tabs.

  • Export → Extract: Focusing on its function of pulling data from the current tab.

• Goodbye Spinner, Hello Transparent Overlay: Watch your agent work in real-time! We've replaced the simple loading spinner with a new scrollable overlay showing agent thoughts and actions for each step taken.

• Detailed Action Log: Understand exactly what the agent is doing:

  • URL & Tab Title acted upon

  • Action Taken (e.g., Click, Type, Select)

  • LLM Thought/Reasoning behind the action

• Enhanced Execution Control: Pause, play, or cancel workflows directly from the overlay.

• Feedback Welcome: This overhaul makes rtrvr.ai much less of a black box. Please tell us what you think!

💡 Interacting With Sheets Just Got Way Easier!

We heard your feedback on making Google Sheets interaction more intuitive! Directly interacting with Sheets has been a challenge because rtrvr.ai just interacts with HTML elements, and a Sheet renders as a single canvas element. While our Sheets Flows panel and Advanced Options provided ways to select input/output Sheets via the Google Sheets API, we realized this wasn't always intuitive. We've engineered a new approach:

• Sheets Context: Now, when you have a Google Sheet open in your current tab, rtrvr.ai automatically adds the Sheets data as as context to the agent! Now you can ask questions or give instructions referencing the sheet data seamlessly. (You might have noticed the new Clipboard permission we are using to achieve this capability)

• The Future: We're working on long-term Agentic Planning capabilities to enable asking for the drive file permission and writing back to the Sheet dynamically based on your prompts!

⚡ Faster Than Ever: Add Workflows to Your Right-Click Menu!

• New Quick Action: In the History Panel, click the new menu icon next to any completed task to add it to your browser's right-click context menu.

• Compose Multi-Step Workflow: At the bottom of the History Panel, you can add completed tasks as steps to a composite workflow! For further reliability and consistency, first execute a step with a recording added to context under Advanced Options and then you can add this task as a step in a composite workflow where each of the steps can have their own recording demonstrations.

• Instant Re-trigger: Right-click on any webpage and select your saved task to instantly re-run that prompt and workflow!

🗺️ The Future is Agentic: Roadmap Update & Our Vision!

We're doubling down on bringing fully agentic capabilities directly into your browser.

• API + Agentic Planning Launch: We've decided to postpone our API launch to early May and release it together with our groundbreaking Agentic Planning feature.

• The Vision: We've built robust agentic building blocks (our current actions, functions, etc.). Agentic Planning is the next evolution, where rtrvr.ai will:

  • Autonomously plan multi-step workflows based on your natural language prompt.

  • Dynamically determine required steps, open tabs, and drive actions across parallel tabs right on your browser.

  • Intelligently present results – whether writing to Sheets, rendering a custom UI/graph, or loading to a database.

  • Dramatically simplify the user interface, letting the agent figure out the "how."
